Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Social | A trip where people will be encouraged to interact and chat with each other.We'll start with a walk around Glebe seeing a few of the historic homes, paying a visit to the Sze Yup Kwan Ti Temple (consider bringing a gold coin to make a donation) and returning via Jubilee Park to the Tramsheds. After morning tea, we'll follow Johnstons Creek and Orphan School Creek through Forest Lodge before reaching Sydney University. After a wander through the university we'll make our way to Redfern and on to the redeveloped Locomotive Workshops (not Carriageworks) at South Eveleigh. Uneven footpaths and road traffic.

Today we explore Hornsby and Normanhurst including Lisgar Gardens. Lisgar Gardens is a wonderful, secret garden hidden in the back streets of Hornsby. After visiting the gardens, we'll continue via bush tracks and streets to Normanhurst. Optional lunch at Hornsby RSL club after the walk. Stairs and slippery sections.

RSVP only accepted from 2 weeks prior to 7 pm the day before the event. An out and back walk from Hawkesbury River Station to Kangaroo Point incorporating the Brooklyn Boardwalk and Hornsby Council’s new Kangaroo Point Boardwalk. Easy, level walking along footpaths and boardwalks with scenic views of the Hawkesbury River. If there is interest, we can add an extra 1.5km loop to Parsley Bay after we return to Hawkesbury River Station. Steps, occasional car traffic.
