 Explore the intertidal zone at Clovelly and Gordon's Bay. Suggest shorts with warm upper layers; bring a change of shoes as they will get wet. Intertidal ID sheets will be provided. Optional boulder-hopping around Gordon's Bay (alternate is the easy walk around the top). The walk experience will be enhanced by completing Marine Life of Sydney course beforehand (www.marineexplorer.org) but this is optional. Hazards: Slippery rock, sharp shells, exposure. Limit:12. Meet on the beach at Clovelly, waterline, north side at midday for the low tide. Booking essential.
