Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Paddle | A canoe or kayak tripHoneymoon Bay - overnight base camp at Beacroft Weapons Range, Honeymoon Bay. Arriving Friday afternoon/evening on 5/2/16. Camp bookings not taken in advance, small fee for camp sites. Sea Kayaks preferred, however stable estuary kayaks will be suitable also. On Saturday we will hug the shore line as best we can and paddle Jervis Bay. Often lucky enough to see stingrays, dolphins and Sea Eagles. Great photo opportunities. Sunday either a walk in the area or another paddle, will discuss on Saturday evening. Bring all meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon teas, happy hour and dinner). Hazards: Sun cream, hats, water; etc. PFD compulsory. Solid fuel fires (wood, heat beads, charcoal, etc.) are prohibited - use gas stoves only. There is no water supply at Honeymoon Bay - bring your own water.
