Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.We walk the Pittwater Track north to south along the western shore of Pittwater from Great Mackerel Beach to Elvina Bay. There is one low tide crossing where we need to wade, a short off track section, many beaches and lookouts and the youth hostel. You are likely to see wallabies, goannas and little red crabs on the sand flats. Tracks are generally good with two climbs of 120m each. Hazards: A bit of rock hopping and a shallow water crossing.
