 Newnes State Forest: Holts Heaven - Waratahs and Pagodas. On my winter walk there, I noticed extraordinary number of Waratahs with flower buds, ready for spring. They must have come up as a result of the fire. The walk on offer is a ramble and scramble through this amazing terrain, with a camera in hand. We will access it through a fire trail at GR 463 965. S223EQ. Hazards: Scrambling and exposure. Limit:10. Map: Wollangambe
