Walking pole(s) recommended for some steep, loose sections of the fire trail.   Rough fire trail and unfenced cliff edges.

Lake Illawarra is open to sea breezes, and can be very choppy. Tidal. Deep water. Possible wake from powerboats. Participants are to provide their own craft and are required to wear a properly fitted PFD.

Paddle | A canoe or kayak trip(NEW!!!) Cross Burroo Bay on Lake Illawarra to enter Macquarie Rivulet and paddle to the weir past mangroves and farmland enjoying abundant birdlife and views of the Illawarra escarpment. Before returning, if conditions are favourable, we will extend the paddle to explore Haywards Bay and Duck Creek.
