Paddle | A canoe or kayak trip(Cancelled) This is an optional 1 day paddle(14km) or 1 day paddle 29km or 3 day paddle & camp (29 km). Day 1: We will head up the Shoalhaven River 7 km to campsite 1 for lunch. Those opting to reach Fossickers Flat on the same day will continue onto Fossickers and return. The remaining day paddlers will then make their way back while the campers will set up camp. Day 2: Make our way up to Fossickers Flat for lunch then return to camp. Day 3: Break camp and make our way back to Tallowa Dam. Maps: Burrier 8928-II-N & Caoura 8928-III-N • Variable distance options. Deep water. Few exit points. Exposed in high winds. - Participants are to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. - If camping then organise your own tent, cooking etc.

After the walk there will be an opportunity to swim at Nellies Glen. As this walk has two parts walkers seeking a shorter walk can opt to do just the first leg. Visit Blue Pool and Jellybean Pool. Make our way to the Gorge for a look. If time allows explore further in. Back track to Gorge Track up to park entrance and walk back to Glenbrook Station. Some off track. Creek crossings. Rock scrambling. Track down to Sandy Hole steep. Sand on rocks could be slippery. Close to creek at times, so some possibility of getting wet.

Paddle | A canoe or kayak trip(Date Changed) A great opportunity to enjoy an easy paddle in the magnificent Kangaroo Valley. Bring your own kayak or rent.  Book kayaks with Leader at least 1x week beforehand. From Bowral, we will drive for appox 30 minutes to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley. We select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. Kangaroo Safari will transport our kayaks to Bendeela and the carpool to follow. Once set up and in the water, we will head upstream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari Kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire to be confirmed.  Leader will provide details when established with the hire co. Cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go. NOTE: Itinerary may change!   HAZARDS: Mostly still water. Possibility of one short section with quick flow if river is flowing. Participants required to wear a correctly fitted PFD.

Rogaine | A map and compass based navigation activity.Fast pace | A trip where the leaders will set a fast pace.(NEW!!!) The first rogaine of 2026 will be a 3 hour minigaine to be held at Swansea High School (at beautiful Caves Beach), on Awabakal land about 90 minutes north of Sydney on Sunday 22 February. It is open to teams (2-5) or individuals. The course includes coast, urban and bush areas and extends north over the Swansea bridge to Blacksmiths and Pelican. The bridge opens for maritime traffic on the hour, so see if you can time this right. Near Swansea is the (in)famous Reid’s Mistake. A fun name for a rogaine control. There are playgrounds, coffee shops, open air showers and opportunities for a dip if it gets too hot. Post event snacks and drinks are included in the entry fee. Entries close 16 Feb. From the heights of Pisgah rock we will descend to the beautiful Erskine creek where we will enjoy this wonderful area by swimming and floating on any device you care to bring with you like a donut/surfmat etc. There is a stunning huge pool to swim and in and I cant think of a better location to see in the end of Summer.
