Take part in this exciting event and help save the Gardens of Stone! The Gardens of Stone: In Focus Photographic Competition will give you a rare experience of capturing some of the best of this region through a camera lens. Discover this wonderland and have a chance to exhibit your photographs in an exhibition at a prestigious venue in Sydney. This specially designed photography walk will take you to two iconic locations - Lurline Jack Lookout and Carne Creek Escarpment. It features views, cliffs, pagodas, heathland, and forest. Part 1 - Lurline Jack Lookout: Distance: +/- 3km; ascent/descent: +/- 200m. Part 2 - Carne Creek Escarpment: Distance: +/- 3km; ascent/descent: +/- 150m. Walk access is suitable for most 2WD. The walk is predominately on the fire trail, with only a short off-track section at the end; more off-track if you choose to explore the area further. Numbers are limited, so book early.
