  The wonderfully rustic Brackens Hut will be our base to explore the dramatic and spectacularly rugged Coolah Tops National Park which has a wealth of volcanic plugs, lava flows, amazing grass tree stands, the odd towering waterfall and much much more. We will have exclusive use of this hut and surrounding large camping area. A mix or track and off track walking. Limit: 25. Map: Blackville and Omaleah

| Eldorado Slots West and Ariadne Thread. Park one car at GR 430 228 on Wolgan Road, then drive to Newnes and park another car at locked gate GR 420 250. Walk up the valley and climb the Grand Balcony, then explore Eldorado slots. Then use the Ariadne Thread to descend into Minotaur Lair for the return back to the first car. About 10k. Exploratory.
