Enjoy an afternoon of free music in Sydney Park, voted by some as the best park in Sydney. City of Sydney is host to the Band in the Park. St George Brass Band, whose founder James Moule is a NPA member, will be entertaining us with an hour of music. After the concert, we shall walk around the 103 acres Sydney Park. Bring cameras to catch the wildlife at the wetlands and enter the NPA 60th Anniversary photographic competition. We shall then head to Grounds of Alexandria for afternoon tea. You can choose to walk back to the station or catch a bus. Meet at St Peters Station at 1:15pm. The park is just across the road. Bring your picnic lunch. Cafe food, juices and drinks are also available from the kiosk. No need to contact leader but email contact is appreciated.

This year’s Paddy Pallin Rogaine will be held at “Arthursleigh”, a farm that is owned by The University of Sydney. “Arthursleigh” is located at Big Hill, 29 km North of Marulan in the Southern Highlands. The commercial property is predominantly sheep grazing.
Every year we donate part of your entry fee to an organisation that Paddy supported in his lifetime. This year that will be to the National Parks Association.
Anyone can enter as part of a team of 2 to 5 people. Read more at http://nswrogaining.org/AboutEvents/Events/17PP/17PP.htm The course features extensive farmland, stunning open bush land and extended river pools. There is a vast variety of fences, but, many of the paddocks are large enough to contain several controls, and, both the bush tracts and the river frontage are essentially fence free. The land form switches between granite outcrops and metamorphic spur-gully which should entertain all navigators. Location: Arthursleigh and north of Marulan
