Paddle | A canoe or kayak tripCamp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Week of day paddles in Northern Rivers region. Joint activity with Illawarra Ramblers run by Helen and Scott Rawstorne, ​who runs the Global Paddler website and has published several Paddlers Guides - to NSW, QLD, VIC. There will be 6 day paddles, chosen with weather conditions in mind, 15-25km daily. One free day midweek. Sit in kayaks; experienced paddlers. PFDs compulsory. Kayaks also available for hire. Walls Ledge - Colliers Causway -Porters Pass. On the western side of Blackheath, this  spectacular track passes along ledges, cliff tops and a little canyon. The walk takes about 4 hours. Train back from Blackheath at 3:14 pm or 3:44 pm. This is a Great Ocean Walk (March 2018) meet and greet but all NPA members are welcome. Members who wish to do the Great Ocean Walk are encouraged to join. No need to contact leader but RSVP by email is appreciated. Some eroded, but manageable sections with steps and handrails.

Camping on grassy flats alongside the river, with the opportunity for some off-track exploring and/or river walking as the mood takes us. Return the following day, 600m ascent. Joint walk with the Bush Club. Co-leader Kris Moore.

Commencing from Kedumba Valley Road descend and cross Kedumba River. Steep ascent to Mt Solitary. Continue uphill to eventual descent of the Koorowall Knife-edge. Follow Ruined Castle Ridge Track with a steep ascent up the Golden Stairs to the finish line. A classic Blue Mountains walk with two big up and down sections. Cliff edges, river crossing, loose rocks and slippery sections.

Walk 50km in a team of four, in just 24 hours. In honour of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service 50th Anniversary in 2017, Oxfam is rolling out a special 50km Trailwalker in Sydney. What better way to commit to an ultimate team challenge? Get fit by walking 50km to challenge poverty. The trail starts at Bobbin Head and follows the 100km trail to finish in Balgowlah Heights with a stunning view towards the harbour.
