Stunning scenes including pristine beaches, remnant rain forest and spectacular cliffs with steep headlands, followed by a gentle forest amble along the shoreline of Durras Lake and its surrounds. The tide on the day will favour us but we will still pay close attention to the prevailing local conditions as we scramble over sometimes slippery boulders and possibly up a steepish cliff section. Walk to Meroo Lookout and surrounding beach areas. An easy walk with coastal dune forest, lakes and sandy beaches to see spectacular coastal views at Nuggan Point. PLUS: After the walk, return to campsite and parking area for light/BBQ over a fire. BYO meat and associated foods for cooking and drink. Wood, fire and Chef will be provided!
