However the walk will be along a fire trail and there are many other flowers to enjoy en route! You'll need to keep your eyes alert and be ready to go "wow" and "ooh" and other expletives. Bring lunch with you. Bring a hat. Bring water. And... bring a camera. We may walk 5km... or we might walk 9km.... that will be decided on the day and the weather ... and the inclinations of the entire party.

This walk takes you the length of the Hunters Hill peninsula, from the Lane Cove River side, past historic sandstone houses, across the ridge through the heritage-listed Kelly’s bush to the Parramatta River shoreline, and finally around the former Woolwich Dry Dock. Mainly streets, some bush tracks. Slippery tracks if wet.
