   This walk will be led by Heather Lakiss. RSVP direct to heatherlakiss@gmail.com The track meanders through the beautiful bushland of Sheldon Forest, along ridge tops, through open forest on the hill slopes and down to the creek side, following a stream that boasts a number of small waterfalls. The forest is one of the few remaining
pieces of the Blue Gum high forest in the Sydney Basin. It is of high conservation status because it contains some of the last remnants of the endangered ecological communities. Echidnas, bowerbirds, water dragons, golden whistlers, pardalotes and powerful owls have been seen. We will check out Rofe Park as well.

    (Fully Booked) 4WD touring, car camping, historic townships, grade 3-4 day walks in mid-December 2021 to mid-January 2022 (actual dates tbc). Join us for one week, or two, three or four! The choice is yours. BYO 4WD (high clearance & low range). Plan to travel in (loose) convoy between campgrounds, staying for one or a few nights at each campground to enjoy the walking, scenery, history and company in a relaxed environment. Visit relics and ghost towns from the gold rush era, old stock huts, pubs and spectacular views. From Bright (in the North) to Licola (in the South) and Dargo (in the East).
