   This is a historic walk http://heritagedrive.com.au/project/history-walk-faulconbridge-steam-saw-mill-site/. We walk from Linden to Faulconbridge. Visit an Aboriginal site and the historic sawmill, and a few rocky vantage points, which offered spectacular views of the valley. The track to the creek is steep and involves some rock scrambling but it is adorned with wildflowers of various colours, overhangs and caves. Unfortunately this walk involves 4 km of street walking. Creek crossings, steep and slippery sections. Steep and slipppery sections. 5 creek crossings, narrow, rocky and wet paths. Long sleeve shirts and trousers recommended. Gortex boots an advantage. Walk will be cancelled in severe weather warning, bush fire warning or park closure. Please check your mail box the night before to make sure walk is still on. Map: Blue Mountains Limit: 12. View |
