One of the easiest canyons to visit and enjoy is Deep Pass Canyon which is more of a walk than a serious canyon as there are no abseils and no compulsary swims but there are plenty of swimming holes to cool off in,on a hot Summers Day.So bring your cossies and come along and enjoy yourself in the cooling waters of Nayook creek. rock scrambling Location: Wollemi NP Map: Rock Hill 89312N

Mt Kembla Ring Trail |
Grade:2/6 |
Illawarra Branch |
Jenae J. |
(Date Changed) This is a beautiful walk taking in the gorgeous bush around the Mt Kembla area. The walk can be a little steep in sections so ideally, some average fitness will assist. The walk enjoys a lush cabbage tree palm forest and explores historic mining sites around the Mt Kembla area, including a stop in the Windy Gully cemetery. The walk is quite long and does have some hills, but is not overly strenuous. The preference is for adults, but if you want to bring older children over 10yo who are adept at bushwalking it's fine to bring them. This is about a 3hr walk allowing plenty of time to take in the bush, take some photos, meet some new people and enjoy the sights. Snakes and slippery sections.
