  Within the Mugii Murum-ban locality which lies in the greater Gardens of Stone region is the
spectacular Airly Turret which has captivated the adventurous bushwalker for decades and is
definitely a place to explore and photograph including its many slots, nooks and crannies! This area
needs to be protected for future generations, so come along and see why!

   (Date Changed) Meet Wolli Creek Railway Station at 8:45 for 9:00am start. A casual, scenic ride around bays, rivers and canals. Cycle from Wolli Creek Railway Station to Stanmore, Whites Creek Canal, Rozelle, Birkenhead Point, The Bay Run, Canada Bay, then Cabarita for picnic lunch (BYO). Coffee stops along the way. Many cycle paths and cycle lanes along quiet roads with some undulations. Must be confident riding on roads. Return to Wolli Creek Rail approx. 4:00pm, via Canals and a Greenway. Bring sufficient drinking water and sun cream. Must book in with leader. When contacting leader please provide: full name, mobile number, emergency contact details, name of club (s) & membership number (where applicable), First Aid Certificate Yes/No. Must bring spare tube(s) and repair kit. No Helmet No Go! Must be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption. Limited numbers.

Park one car at Airly Gap and drive another one to GR 215 306 on Glen Davis Road. From the second car, ascend a ridge to the north, visiting The Fort, and continue to the end of a promontory at around GR 213 330. Descend underneath the cliff line and follow it around via Torbane Blade till about GR 219 338, then make our way up above the cliffs and eventually to the top of Mount Airly. Use Airly Connector Slot to connect to the first car. About 10 km. Scrambling and exposure. Location: Mugii Murum-ban SCA Map: Glen Alice 89314N and Ben Bullen 89314S
