Starting at Collaroy it goes via the Long Reef headland and follows the coastline to Dee Why Lagoon. After crossing Pittwater road several flights of steps lead up to Collaroy Plateau for breathtaking views over the coastline. A steep bush track and several flights of steps lead down the cliff line to finish with a short walk along Narrabeen Lagoon. Steps.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Postponed) While this walk is not “Strictly for the Birds”, they do play a major part in it. Between Town Hall and Circular Quay the walk passes some beautiful sculptures of birds (Terrance Plowright's "Dancing Brolgas", Michael Thomas's Hill's "Forgotten Songs", Tracey Emin's " The Distance of your Heart” and Stephen Walker's “Tank Stream” fountains). After a ferry ride the walk continues on Cockatoo Island where the seagulls are raising their chicks. Live pigeons, ibis and seagulls included!. Steps, city traffic, swooping seagulls.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Note 420m ascent and descent. Walk feels longer than 8km. Visit Ross Cave, Bede Lookout, Pulpit Rock, Little Zig Zag, Rienits Pass, Wilson Glen and back past Ross Cave. Old track, poorly maintained. In a couple of places a slip would not be good. Muddy in places.
