Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Leader Changed) Option 1: Lunch only at O'Donoghues Emu Plains (no need to book with me, just turn up). Option 2: your self-guided walk around the Nepean River (approx 6.5km - no need to book) Option 3: Starting at Glenbrook Station - walk route still to be decided. Book in with Allan. START 9:19 am. NOTE: O'Donoghues had a surcharge on using your 'card' for all purchases the last time I went. I will book for 50 people under NPA. Option 3, could be slippery, trip hazards. Limit: 15. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Cafe | A trip that involves a relaxed stop at a cafe.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.We will follow the Great North Walk from Thornleigh Railway Station until we meet the access trail from the Cumberland State Forest (CSF). We will then foll the access trail to the CSF. explore the various trails in the forest  before walking to the Cherrybrook Metro Station.  This walk will involve some street walking.       Limit: 20. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Social | A trip where people will be encouraged to interact and chat with each other.Walk from Glenbrook to Emu Plains for our Christmas Party. I have replaced Janet for the Option 3. Walk up through Glenbrook and along to Knapsack Park. More uphill tracks before a nice walk along a rock outcrop, with views over Brookside Creek. Morning tea at Marges Lookout, with views over Mitchells Pass to Penrith Lakes. A steepish rough trail takes us down towards Emu Plains. Then it's concrete paths to O'Donoghues. Footpaths do have trip hazards. Sand, flowers and other debris can be slippery on concrete steps and paths. Sunnies may be helpful on the new shared path. Loose and rocky surfaces on some sections of track. Might encounter dogs and bikes.
