   This moderately challenging walk is a wonderful day trip outing. We start off with a scenic connecting bus ride to Palm Beach wharf. We then hop on an interesting ferry ride to Mackerel Beach. The walk takes us through forest & and down three immaculately secluded beaches, Red Hand Cave & and West Head Lookout & and gives way to magnificent views of Pittwater, Palm Beach & and Barrenjoey headland.  Take advantage of a super high tide for an 8:30 am launch to take us up the Clyde River into Buckenbowra River, past Ryans Island and upstream until we have had enough and head back.
