This is a very beautiful walk that descends quickly to Cowan Creek, where we see some remains from past residents as we meander around the bays. Then we have a quick rise to follow a ridge to Mt Kuring-gai from where we catch the train home. It' s that time of the year again when fungi and orchids about. We shall walk the Forest Path loop before switching over to parts of Bola Creek. It's a slow walk because those beauties are small and low to the ground. Be aware that there are other things low to the ground too! Yes, I do mean the odd leech. OK, I admit it, there are leeches.
