Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity. We meet at Palm Beach Ferry Wharf after our bus ride up the coast at 10:15am ready to board our ferry to Ettalong. Our journey takes us across the mighty Hawkesbury River, past Lion Island and up the channel into the placid Brisbane Water. On alighting the ferry at Ettalong, we will walk along the flat to climb Blackwall Mountain (121m) for absolutely spectacular views before descending and walking along largely flat parks adjoining beautiful Brisbane Water, which is teeming with wildlife. We follow the shoreline until we reach Woy Woy Station to catch the train home. Booking is essential giving your phone, emergency contact and NPA numbers. Possible rough seas, some street walking and tracks can be rough in places.

How did the explorers meet the railway access challenge. Meet at Glenbrook station. Roads to Zig zag railway track. Descend to GWH, mind your head. Explore to the closed railway tunnel due to open in the near future for pedestrians and cyclists. Roads through Lapstone. Who is Arthur Hand? On to Darks Common. Tracks to the old tramway. Amazing look down to the present railway BUT an abrupt edge - with care. Finish at Glenbrook station. EDGES, roads
