Paddle | A canoe or kayak tripFor the full (23km) trip we will launch from Audley. Those wanting a shorter (17km) paddle will launch from Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point. We will make our way down Hacking River and up SW Arms Ck and into the RNP to the head of waters where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will take a short walk to Winifred Falls for a possible swim before heading back. • New Event 9:00 for a 9:30 launch at Wants Beach, (near Reids Flat Picnic Area), Riverside Drv , Audley. OR 9:15 for 9:45 launch at Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point Tidal. Deep water. Possible wake from motorboats. Participants are to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD.

I booked the following coach: 6:45 leaving central 10:15 arriving Canberra 6:30 pm leaving Canberra 21:40 arriving central cost: $18 when we arrive Canberra, we’ll catch a bus to the starting point of the walk. Walk takes about 3 hours. Then it’s free time. Catch the 6:30 coach back to maximise the time in Canberra. My wife and I will be heading over to Africa for our 7th safari and this time we are travelling from Kenya in Tanzania for 13 days staying in excellent accommodation including lodges and glamping tents whilst searching for wildlife.
