Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long60 Best walks | This is one of the NPA's 60 best walks.(NEW!!!) Projecting itself out of the cliff into the void above Carne creek is the aptly named Flying Carpet. This narrowish slab of rock affords the cautious walker outstanding views of the surrounding cliff lines all around and far down into Carne creek. We will also visit the wonderful Koan Cave as we progress along the escarpment. Hazards: rock scrambling and offtrack walking
