Mugii Murum-ban (Airly Genowlan): Spectacular Pagodas, Cliffs and Ravines of Mount Airly South. Find out for yourself why this unique area, currently under threat, must be protected, now. Park the vehicles at Airly Gap. Walk SW following the alignment of the former tramway to the transfer station site, then the double track skip haulage to the high level tunnel through the SW end of Mount Airly. Climb the incredible pagoda spur to the top of the SW corner of Mount Airly, then traverse eastwards on the top/southern edge of the mountain, full of spectacular cliffs, overhangs and caves. Head north to descend into a rainforest tributary of Gap Creek; if time allows, explore another canyon tributary to the north before returning to the vehicles. Limit: 12. Map: Glen Alice View
