Set up a car shuffle. Park at the barrier at the national park boundary on Mount Irvine Road. Descend into a large tributary of Bowens Creek to the north and follow it downstream exploring side creeks as far as the time allows, then find a way up to Mount Tootie Road. About 6 km. Exploratory.  Walk to Reserve Ave and descend to Cripple Creek Trail. Follow this to the causeway and take the track following the creek. After a kilometre ascend the spur to Mt Riverview. Descend to Cripple Creek from Marshall Rd and follow the creek back to Blaxland. Some steep track. Creek crossings. Variety of surfaces. Location: Blaxland Map: Springwood Limit: 20.

 This is a training walk for the walkers taking part in Cape to Cape walk in October. We walk from Manly to Balmoral via North Head, making it 22 km long and 400m elevation. This route is chosen to simulate the longest day walk in C2C walk. Other NPA members are also welcome to join.
A few leaders will take turns to lead different segments of the walk. Steep and slippery sections

  (Updated Details) Foreshore walk mainly on paths and streets from Taronga Zoo, through Cremorne, Kirribilli, Lavender Bay to Wendy Whitely's Garden then over the Bridge to the Rocks. There is a short track behind the Zoo that could be muddy. Steps and one rather steep climb. Steps, slippery surfaces, mud. Location: Sydney Harbour Map: Sydney Harbour Limit: 14.
