   This walk provides plenty of variety. Enjoy waterviews on the way through Birchgrove, Balmain and part of the Bay Run, then follow the Hawthorne Canal along the Greenway to Lewisham. | (Updated Details) Take old bridal track down to the Powerline Trail near the Nepean River. Follow this to Fitzgeralds Creek for lunch. After lunch there is the hill up to the cliffs overlooking Fitzgeralds Creek. Walk up to bus stop near Summit St. Some off track. The main creek crossings have concrete causeways. Some steep sections. Some eroded sections. Lots of leaves and twigs on unused bridal track. Powerline Service Trail is overgrown with long grass. Maybe wear gaiters. A few mosquitos about so protect yourself. Suggest you bring a couple of snacks you can eat on the move. Location: Yellomundee RP Map: Springwood Limit: 20. View |
