 Park at the locked gate on Wheeny Gap North Trail. Walk on trail to GR 772 930, then continue east off track on a spur. Descend into Flat Rock Creek at around GR 781 931. Walk counterclockwise under cliffs all the way to Flat Rock Creek South Falls. Climb above the falls and exit back to the vehicles. Mainly exploratory. About 12 km. Scrambling and exposure. Walking pole(s) advised for some steep, loose sections of the fire trail. Rough fire trail and unfenced cliff edges. Limit: 20.
